Toolsdown have been successfully selling great value tools to the electrical and plumbing trades through eBay and Amazon since 2009. Using these platforms they have not been customer facing so had never invested in a brand of their own.
As the business went from strength to strength, the owners saw an opportunity to grow by creating their own brand and website to sell direct to their customers.

- Shopify powered sales
We built a Shopify store with over 100 products and integrated voucher codes and free gifts for the site launch. Toolsdown had been busy on Instagram building an audience for their products so when we were ready to launch in Easter 2021 we had an active audience chomping at the bit to get buying!

The Toolsdown team have taken complete ownership of managing the site, keeping it fresh with new products from established brands and also other small businesses and inventors who want to get their products to the market.
Toolsdown has been successful over the last 10+ years and we felt the time was right to have our own site where we could engage directly with our customers and build some brand loyalty.
We'd previously worked with easiserv on 2 web sites for single products we own and knew they always did a great job so we were very happy when they said they could build our eCommerce site for us. We'd never actually heard of Shopify but having had a walk though it seemed easy enough to use and we gave the go-ahead.
