leading search engine UK usage data...

Just to stop any potential bar-room brawling in EASIserv.com towers, we happily publish a couple of the categories from the latest set of search engine usage statistics from Hitwise - for the 4 weeks ending August 25, 2007.

Not too many surprises to be seen with Google continuing to dominate the top 4 of the search engines; but it's interesting to note the statistical confirmation in the Top 20 websites of the social networking phenomenon.  If you add the social networking sites together (bebo, myspace, facebook, youtube) they collectively feature just behind Google in terms of market share.  That's a rich (mostly) young market out there!
