Just when you thought that they couldn't possibly get any more kudos - The Big 'G' has just been announced as being No.1 in a list of the biggest global brands for 2005, as compiled by brandchannel.com. Underscoring the complete rehabilitation of the technology market's credibility - this year has seen the technology and online brands stamp their name at the top with Google and Apple dookin'-it-out for first spot and new-kid-on-the-block Skype just a smidgeon behind.
In at No.3 (with a bullet) is Skype, that most recognisable VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) provider, who offer free or very cheap communication between people over the internet. At EASIserv.com we were an early adopter of Skype and we're now a dedicated and active Skype user and promoter - just hope that their being taken over by eBay in Sept 2005, doesn't cramp their style.
