"First Stop Aquatics" Actinic powered ecommerce site launched back in mid-March, building on their success as a company selling marine products on EBay.
Owner Lee Cornish said, "we did the usual rounds of local Northampton web design companies, discussing our requirements and trying to determine which company would be right for us to work with. After meeting Neil and Colin of EASIserv.com, and looking at their extensive portfolio of work, we decided to go with them - as they fully understood our design brief and the requirements / aspirations of our e-commerce business model.
From the first day of us commissioning the e-commerce website - EASIserv.com were in regular contact, ensuring that their understanding of the website was heading in our right direction. Throughout the progress of the building of the website, we were always allowed as much involvement as we wanted in the development and our input was always listened to and responded to responsibly. The e-commerce website was completed to our total satisfaction and launched on time and on budget. We were then given hands-on training on how to upload new products to the e-catalog and make basic changes to the website ourselves - which was really important to us, being an e-commerce website that routinely updates with new products on a weekly basis."
The website's clean and crisp look, matched by its user friendly interface, earned favourable feedback from both Lee and his shoppers alike. Lee commented, "since our e-commerce website went ‘live’ in mid-March 2006 we have had considerable early success with many orders being placed online - a lot of it almost certainly due to the top placing in Google search results that we've achieved, thanks to the search engine friendliness of the EASIserv.com website design. Within the space of a week or so from going 'live' - our website was indexed by the 3 biggest search engines, Google, Yahoo and MSN and we're already getting really good search engine positions for some of our keyword searches!"
