Get a New Website for a Happy New Year

This was posted by Neil on January 3, 2009 · Under EASIserv News, Web Design · Comment

Get your business found on the internet.Well after a long Christmas break (for most businesses / people)  I’m sure you will be returning to the office with new Christmas toys and a few pounds heavier after some pretty heavy over indulgence. The year ahead promises to be a tough one for businesses with the well documented “credit crunch” seemingly affecting all sectors. With people being more picky about getting the best deals, there has never been a better time to get on the web.

Over the Christmas period I have been trying (and failing) to decorate my house and have decided to take on a decorator after my efforts at painting were pretty laughable. Spending pretty much all of my day on the computer I did a quick Google for “decorator Northampton”, and found no results of actual decorators, only directory listings.

This lack of website visibility is a theme across the building sector but doesn’t need to be. With web site builds available from just £750 any local business can get found on the internet and start converting the lost Google search queries into sales. We have built sites for a number of local companies in fields such as plumbing and building and groundworks and they have made their money back on the site in the first year (and in some cases the first week!).

Please contact us to see how we can help your business to get clients in the coming year through web site design or search engine optimisation.

Lets Instruct Case Study

Visit the Lets Instruct WebsiteThe Challenge :
Lets instruct were looking to restructure their business from focusing on UK driving instructor lessons to learner driving lessons in Northampton. To that end they needed to redesign their website (an easiserv build) from one catering for a more mature target audience of 30-40 year olds, to appeal to a younger demographic of 16-18 year olds who were more likely to respond to a brighter more modern site. The sites call to action was a simple contact form which potential drivers would be much more likely to fill out than a long winded form. The site offered several key services of equal importance which all needed to be viewed on arrival.

Background :
Lets Instruct offers high quality Learner Driving lessons, as well as training for prospective Driving Instructors. The site was redesigned to focus on the different products and services offered. You can also apply for a half price first lesson as well as finding lots of useful driving test resources. The business was formed by Matthew Stone and they pride themselves on being thorough and fun.

Braid Barbers Case Study

This was posted by Colin on January 1, 2009 · Under Web Design Portfolio · Comment

Visit the Braid Barbers WebsiteWe have worked with ‘Braid Barbers’ for several years producing numerous pieces of print work (posters, flyers etc.). Having already developed a brand and graphic style during this time (which the client was very pleased with), it was essential the website continued with this style to help build brand recognition. Braid Barbers main requirement was to create an online presence which would provide opening and closing times as well as contact details for it’s three salons. Braid Barbers also told us it was likely that the site would grow in the future, so this is something we needed to bear in mind whilst designing.

Braid Barbers is a successful mens hairdressers in Leaminton Spa with other salons based in Banbury and Milton Keynes. Braid Barbers provides relaxed surroundings and a first class service. Braid Barbers are also known to attract glamorous clientele with Coventry City footballers and celebrities often found in the salon.
To provide a one page website in the style of the existing brand. The page would need to fit all key information (opening / closing times, addresses, phone numbers etc.) above the fold in order for users to find the required information as quickly as possible.
